# Crypto Trading

> How crypto spot trading on DFlow works: request an order, sign, submit

Swap any SPL token on Solana through the Trading API.

## Features

* **[Best execution](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/jit-routing.md)**: JIT routing re-optimizes the route at execution time.
* **[Live market data](https://pond.dflow.net/resources/trading-api/websockets/overview.md#market-data-streams)**: Quote and book streams push prices and depth without polling.
* **[Gasless swaps](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/trading/sponsored-swaps.md)**: Sponsor users' transaction fees so they trade without holding SOL.
* **Composable transactions**: Bundle the returned transaction with your own instructions and run them atomically.
* **Fine-grained control**: Set [slippage](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/trading/slippage-tolerance.md), [priority fees](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/trading/priority-fees.md), and [venue restrictions](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/liquidity-venues.md) per order.
* **No protocol fee**: DFlow charges none. Add your own [platform fee](https://pond.dflow.net/spot/trading/platform-fees.md).

## How It Works

  A[Request /order] --> B[Sign transaction]
  B --> C[Submit to RPC]
  C --> D[Confirm status]
```
1. The app requests an order from the [`/order`](https://pond.dflow.net/resources/trading-api/order/order) endpoint with input mint, output mint, and amount, plus optional parameters like slippage, platform fees, priority fees, and venue restriction.
2. The user signs the returned transaction.
3. The app submits it to a Solana RPC and confirms status.
